Meet Our Staff

The staff of Terry E. Mosley, CPA, Inc. are divided into three categories: Administrative, Accounting, and Taxation.

Owner and Founder:


Terry Mosley

Terry is the owner and founder of Terry E. Mosley, CPA, Inc.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. In 1998, Terry was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Victory California Christian College.

Terry first began working with exempt organizations in 1978 when he joined the staff of a non-profit ministry in Tulsa, OK. In 1984, he left this organization to start his accounting firm and earned his CPA certificate the following year.  Then in 1988, the firm was incorporated and became Terry E. Mosley, CPA, Inc. which specializes in accounting and taxation issues for churches and ministries.

Terry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s. Terry has been married for over 43 years.  He and his wife, Jan, have two children and one grandchild. Terry enjoys traveling with his wife and is an avid golfer.

Administrative Staff:


Cheryl Pitcock

Cheryl is our Administrative Assistant and has been with our firm since September of 2012.  Her previous experience includes licensed insurance agent, business owner  and Personal Banker.  She has also completed courses in accounting from Tulsa Community College and the American Institute of Banking. 

Cheryl enjoys walks in the evening with her toy poodle, Sophie, and spending time with her daughter, Shelley, who lives in Texas.

Accounting Staff:


Steve Chambers

Steve joined the firm in 1998 and has been the Accounting Director since 2007.  He has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.

Away from the office, Steve also enjoys catching up on the local, national, and international news from various sources on the internet.






Carley Payne

Carley initially worked for the firm from 2009 - 2011. She returned to the firm in March, 2014 as the Assistant Accounting Director. Carely has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Accounting from Northeastern State University.

In her spare time, Carley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves music, reading, and art.






Jim Bingham

Jim has been with the firm since 1999 and currently serves as the Senior Staff Accountant.  Jim has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Northeastern State University and was certified as a Fellow in Church Business Administration in 1989.

In his free time, Jim is an enthusiastic photographer and enjoys taking pictures of his travels.






Mike Crook

Mike joined our staff in 2011 and currently serves as a staff accountant. He has a Bachelor’s of Commercial Science Degree and more than 35 years of accounting experience.

Mike likes to spend his free time listening to music and fishing.

Taxation Services:


Bob Tharp

Bob has been with the firm for 10 years and currently serves as a Tax Accountant. He studied accounting at the University of Nebraska and Wichita State University.  Prior to joining our firm, he spent 23 years as the Chief Accountant for a large ministry.

When he’s not working, Bob spends his time traveling coast-to-coast to visit his grandchildren in Virginia and California.




James Merrell

James is an Enrolled Agent and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Prior to joining the firm in 2015 he worked as an Accountant in the Banking industry.
